The ShopFunds Program of Progressive Fund Raising purchases shopping cards from large retail stores in bulk and the stores give them a good discount. They are then able to pass on the majority of that discount to participating schools, churches and charitable organizations. The fund raising group, BSOSS in this case, sells the shopping cards at face value to our supporters and collects the difference.

Participating retailers include these types of stores: grocery, gasoline, home improvement, department, sporting goods, specialty, video and restaurants.

Last year was our first experience with this type of fund raising and we were very pleased with the results. Help us make it even better this year. Be a supporter of our service programs and save your time and energy for the really important pre-holiday activities.

Just decide who is getting what, check off the certificate amount and return it to BSOSS with a cheque, money order or cash (Sorry, yes, we need it up-front because we have to pay up-front) and we will make sure you get your cards in a timely fashion. And, of course, we have no objection if you pass this information on to your family, friends and neighbours so that they too can make gift-giving easier this year.
